Profile: Maureen Higham, Candidate for Selectman

I have decided to run for Selectman because I have the time, energy, and commitment to make Allenstown a better town. I would like the opportunity to work with all of you to continue to bring new businesses to the community to increase our tax base. It's important that we have a prospering town that is affordable for people of all ages to live in.

I would also like the opportunity to work with the community to find a workable solution to managing the town budget. As a business owner, I understand the importance and the challenges of operating on a budget. As an attorney, I practice in many areas of law which include dispute resolution, real estate, business start-ups and business buy/sell. I would like the opportunity to apply what I know to help improve our community.
