The Allenstown Fire Department (AFD) provides protection for residents in case of fire, medical emergency, floods, or other natural disasters. AFD is also a member of the Capital Area Mutual Aid Fire Compact; as such, AFD provides mutual aid to surrounding towns as needed.

At the Nov. 15, 2021 Selectmen's meeting, Eric Lambert was appointed and sworn in as the new Fire Chief, replacing Paul St. Germain.

Burning Permits

A Burning Permit can be obtained Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, at the Fire Station. You can also obtain a seasonal fire permits at the station.
