| The Allenstown School District is the government entity responsible for educating the children of the town. This district is part of the larger School Administrative Unit #53 (SAU 53) which oversees the school districts of Allenstown, Chichester, Deerfield, Epsom, and Pembroke.

The school celebrated its grand opening on May 3 & 4, 2024. The Allenstown Community School is located at 171 River Rd. across from Lavalley Farms. Shannon Kruger is the School Principal. Allenstown Elementary School (AES): Students from Kindergarten through fifth grade were moved to the new Community School in May 2024. The school is now closed except for a few classrooms being leased by the SAU.
Armand R. Dupont School (ARD): Students from sixth through eighth grade were moved to the new Community School in May 2024. The school is now vacant.
Pembroke Academy (PA): Allenstown high school students (grades 9 to 12) attend PA at 209 Academy Road, Pembroke. Allenstown pays a negotiated tuition to Pembroke for these high school students. The Headmaster is Dan Morris. Contact him at dmorris@sau53.org or call 603-485-7881.
Allenstown School BoardThe Allenstown School Board consists of several members who develop an annual budget for the town schools and for Allenstown's portion of the Pembroke Academy budget. (School budgets runs from July 1 to June 30.) School Board members are elected for three-year terms. Contacts:
