New Way to Get Library Materials

Dateline: June 10, 2020

Betsi Randlett, the Town Librarian, has announced a new service, Curbside Pickup.

This service begins on June 16th - by appointment only. Thank you for your patience as we navigate this new process.

Here is how it works:

1. Place holds (items you wish to reserve) by either logging into your online account, searching/browsing the catalog, calling the library, or messaging the library on Facebook.
2. When your holds are ready, you will receive an e-mail message, Facebook message, or phone notification from the library.
3. In response, you should either call the library at (603) 485-7651, send e-mail to allenstownlib@comcast.net, or send a message via Facebook to schedule a pickup time.
4. Visit the library at the pickup time to retrieve your materials. Pickup times are between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays only. Items will be placed in front of the library entrance, in bags labeled with your last name, ready to go.
5. At this time, you may also return any items you have borrowed, using the library-approved procedure.

Currently, the library building is remaining closed to the public.
