Featuring Crazy Steve and Friends

Aug. 13, 2020

What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than at a Concert at Blueberry Express Park in front of Town Hall. Mark your calendar for Sunday September 13th from 4-6 p.m. Performing for us will be a local rock band who put on a fine concert for us last summer: Crazy Steve and Friends.

Before the virus pandemic put the kabosh on performing at local venues, they had appeared locally at venues such as Chantilly's Restaurant in Hooksett, Area 23 in Concord, and The Lazy Lion in Deerfield. They are still performing here and there. Check their Facebook site (see link at top right).

Having safely managed the Bluegrass Concert on August 2nd, the EDC will follow the same protocols to keep everyone safe at this concert.

Refreshments

fire dept patch The Allenstown Fire Department auxiliary groups will volunteer their time to provide the refreshments while you enjoy the music. Their menu will consist of hamburgers, hot dogs, soft drinks, and other snacks to enjoy while taking in the concert.

The big surprise last time was the Ice Cream Truck. Well it will return for the Sept. 13th concert. So after you have a bite to eat from the food concession, head over to the Ice Cream Truck for dessert.

Free Admission

The concert is free and open to the public. Parking is on the street, at town hall, or at the Dupont School next door. If you live nearby, just walk over.

Safety Considerations

The lawn will be marked with chalk lines so you can safely keep your distance from others. Complimentary masks and hand sanitizer will be available.

Brought to you by the Allenstown Economic Development Committee.

What You Can Do

Mark your wall calendar or weekly planner; set up your computer calendar or cell phone calendar to remind you; then bring your lawn chairs or blankets (and your mask), and get ready for a fun concert at Blueberry Express Park.
