Why Allenstown?

Scott said he grew up in Allenstown. He liked the idea of keeping things local. That's why he started both Local Dudes Auto Repair and Tether's Property Maintenance here.

How Did You Get Started?

Growing up in Allenstown, Scott said he always had a side business. With a lawn mower and a snow blower, he worked summers doing lawn care and winters clearing snow. The lawn care side business started to take off so he spent more time developing it and now has two part-time employees working for him.

He has been operating the business for about three years now. His clients range from Concord to Hooksett and Manchester and from Chichester and Epsom to Bow.

What Types of Services Do You Offer?

Mr. Tether said "We specialize in general property maintenance, fine gardening, hardscapes, patios, walkways, and retaining walls. In the summer it's primarily lawn care. In the fall, we shift to getting properties ready for winter. In the winter, our focus shifts to plowing, salting, and shoveling.

Community Outreach

Mr. Tether said "We offer a 10% discount for veterans and first responders. It is our way of honoring those who serve to keep us safe from foreign and domestic danger."

Plans for the Near Future

He closed by saying, "I want to expand the business over time and build strong relationships with the local community.
