March 13, 2018 is election day at St. John's Parish Hall on School St. This year, there are less than a dozen open town positions. Sadly, only one person is running for all but two of the open positions.

Please take a more active interest in what goes on in your town. If you want to try for a position, have your friends write in your name. We need more people who are willing scrutinize the town and sewer budgets and look for ways to minimize spending and maximize revenue.

However, this candidacy might be considered a conflict of interest. The School Board is a major board similar in power and authority to the Board of Selectmen and the Sewer Commission.
